My Ride 1; Self Portrait

Taken over Sunset Crater east of Flagstaff, Arizona. I am flying our homebuilt Glasair III. Rhoda Batson and Rich Roberge flew alongside in our Cessna 182 to take the pictures.

Spring break maybe, but a few inches of wet snow made our camp site in the Arizona desert near Lake Mead unique. (photo by Ray Batson)

Snowy surprise on an April morning

Taken over the Echo Cliffs between Flagstaff and Page, Arizona. I am flying our homebuilt Glasair III. Rhoda Batson and Rich Roberge flew alongside in our Cessna 182 to take the pictures.

My fiberglas ride 1

Our homebuilt biplane, we built with tube and fabric and wood and dacron over the course of 7 and 1/2 years, from 1977 to 1985. I took this picture with a remote cable in the cockpit. The camera was mounted on the vertical fin of the airplane. (Photo by Ray Batson)
